It was a privilege to be chosen recipients of the SpecKids Change Challenge. This funding enabled Food4Kids to achieve several milestones, including extending our reach to include 75 additional children, at both Hess St and St David elementary schools. These wonderful children now receive healthy food packages each and every week filled with fruit, vegetables, soups, stews and grains. They say it takes a village to raise a child. We are so grateful to SpecKids Unlimited and the Hamilton Spectator readership for your vote of confidence in Food4Kids and helping to ensure that no child in our community will have to face another weekend, wondering how they will be fed.
