Have you got a fabulous idea to help make kids in Hamilton happier or healthier? SpecKids Unlimited is offering a grant of up to $25,000 to a person or organization with an outstanding project to improve the lives of children in our community.
Applying is simple. Here’s how it works:
If you know of a brilliant way to help kids in The Hamilton Spectator’s readership area, apply to us by using an application form found here. The deadline for applications -- which can include written submissions, photos, drawings and video -- is October 20th.
Our SpecKids team will sort through the applications and narrow the list down to the five submissions we feel will most benefit children in this area. Then it’s back to YOU! We will publish submissions from five finalists both in The Spectator and on thespec.com. Then we will let Spectator readers help decide who gets the money by allowing you to vote on your favorite idea from among the finalists. You can help promote your favorite idea by getting the word out so people visit thespec.com and vote for your cause!
